FOR READY-TO-APPLY DECAL |
 |
Step 1.
Clean the surface with a dry dust free cloth. For better surface preparation
use glass cleaner or paint thinner, alchohal. Draw a vertical center line and
a horizontal guideline in the area where the letters will be placed.
Step 2.
Draw or tape on alignment marks on the object you are placing the label on.
Step 3.
Fill a squeeze/spray bottle with a mixture of water and 3 drops of ivory liquid
detergent
Step 4.
Squeegee the transfer tape (top) that's placed over the decal. This will make
sure the decal can be lifted off the Backing.
Step 5.
Lift the transfer tape (top) and the decal off of the backing. Be very careful
cause at this point the decal is "live" and will stick to things.
Step 6.
Now, sprinkle/spray the sticky side of the letters with the soapy water solution.
This solution will help you perfectly position the decal.
Step 7.
With the decal facing down, place the decal in the desired postion. If mis-placed
carefully lift decal and reposition.
Step 8.
Starting from the middle/center of the decal lightly ”squeegee“ the
decal to force air bubbles from beneath them. Then ”squeegee“ more
firmly to adhere the decal to the surface. Squeegee to remove all air bubbles
and any creases.
Step 9.
Let dry for approximately 1 Hour!
Step 10.
Carefully remove application tape. If decal starts to pull free...you did not
wait long enough. Repeat the last part of step 8. Wait an additional 15 minutes
before removing transfer tape.
Step 11.
If you are really impatient and don't want to wait just do Step 1, 5, 10. |
